Meeting Place and Time: Meeting point will be Hickory Hill Park and Ride (Rockville exit on I-64 - Exit 173) at 8:50 for a 9:00 departure.  Bring $10-15 to give to your driver.  If you are not in the RVA area, contact the hike leader to make arrangements to meet at the trailhead.

Hike Details: Haven't had a chance to experience Nelson County's Blue Ridge Tunnel yet, or it's been awhile? Now's your chance. We'll carpool and meet up at the East Trail parking lot, then walk through the tunnel and up to the West Trail parking lot and return. Just short of 5 miles roundtrip, with one steep hill. Bringe a flashlight or headlamp.  In the tunnel, hikers have seen frogs, crayfish, and Long-tailed Salamanders.  Afterwards we'll enjoy lunch & beverages at Blue Mountain Brewery on Nelson 151, the "Brew Ridge Trail."
