Meeting Place and Time: Meeting point will be Oilville Park and Ride at 7:05 for a 7:15 departure. Bring $10-15 to give to your driver. If you are not in the RVA area, contact the hike leader to make arrangements to meet at the trailhead.

Hike Details: Dickey Ridge is the northernmost trail in Shenandoah National Park. After leaving a car or two at the northern point near Front Royal, everyone will shuttle down the Skyline Drive to Lands Run Gap for the hike north. At the end of the hike, we'll get the shuttle cars that we left at the hike's start.
The hike gains about 860 feet and will descend 2.280 feet with our northbound direction. Near the halfway point is the Dickey Ridge Visitor Center with bathrooms, a park store, and picnic tables. Bring a trail lunch.
After the hike, those camping at Matthews Arm will head to the campground.
