It appears the oppressive heat and the sporadic rainstorms have finally let up enough for us to resume our pleasant Wednesday ODATC hikes. We'll start back casually with a walk around Fountain Lake in Byrd Park, heading over the Downtown Expressway to explore a burgeoning new area south of Cary Street, back over into the Byrd Park Neighborhood, around the Vita Course, and return. Distance will vary depending upon how much of the route you want to do. And no doubt afterwards a group will want to head into Carytown for lunch.
Meet at The Landing (the building on Fountain/Boat Lake) at 9:50. Contact hike leader Anne-Marie McCartan with any questions (757-345-1395).
