This is a 61.2-mile A.T. section hike starting in the middle of the 100-mile wilderness in Maine and ending at majestic Mount Katahdin over eleven days from 7/31 to 8/9. We'll drive up on 7/31 with one night on the road and start hiking at Jo Mary Road on 8/1. After hiking up to Katahdin and back, we’ll spend the night in Millinocket and take two days to drive back to Richmond. This is a beautiful, but rugged and remote hike.
