Jim (804 513-0365, j.m.henry@verizon.net) and Meredith Henry will be conducting a bifurcated 5-mile hike in Deep Run Park on April 22. Please meet us at 9:50 AM in the Deep Run Recreation Center parking lot the first left after entering the park off Ridgefield Parkway.
The hike begins with an inner loop of about 2.5 miles on paved paths. We will return to the parking lot for a short break and at this time those who wish to continue hiking will do so on somewhat challenging wooded trails for another 2.5 miles. Restrooms are available. No contact with Jim is necessary; just show up and be prepared to enjoy the activity.

The construction and maintenance of foot trails for hikers, including the Appalachian Trail between Reids Gap and Rockfish Gap.
The provision of excursions on such trails or other areas.
Offering educational activities related to the need for preserving the great outdoors.
