Jim (804 513-0365, j.m.henry@verizon.net) and Meredith Henry will be sponsoring a bifurcated 5 mile hike in Deep Run Park on December 10. Please meet us at 9:50 AM in the Deep Run Recreation Center parking lot, the first left after entering the park off Ridgefield Parkway. The hike begins with an inner loop of about 2.5 miles on paved paths. We will return to the parking lot for a short break and at this time those who wish to continue hiking will do so on somewhat challenging wooded trails. It is advised that everyone participating in the entire hike wear good footgear and carry a hiking pole. Restrooms are available. No contact with Jim is necessary; just show up and be prepared to enjoy the activity!
