Please join us for the November ODATC general meeting. Because the 2nd Tuesday is Veteran's Day, we are moving the meeting to THURSDAY, November 13th. Social time 6:30 pm, Business 7:00 pm. We have an exciting and informative program for you! Dannise Brown, Enrollment Specialist with the Appalachian Conservation Corps (ACC) will share stories and tell us about the myriad of programs they offer. The ACC works to connect young people to critical conservation service projects, teaching work and life skills while improving public access, habitat quality, and economic development throughout Appalachia. And, as an added bonus, Dannise is Norm and Sue Kropp's granddaughter!
The ODATC Mission
The construction and maintenance of foot trails for hikers, including the Appalachian Trail between Reids Gap and Rockfish Gap.
The provision of excursions on such trails or other areas.
Offering educational activities related to the need for preserving the great outdoors.
