Take advantage of this lovely fall weather by hiking around Pony Pasture and along the Riverside Trail. Meet at 9:50 AM at the Pony Pasture parking lot (7200 Riverside Drive) and park toward the far side. There are bathrooms off the parking lot.
We will begin hiking promptly at 10:00 AM. Hikers will head out for a 2-3 mile loop around the Pony Pasture. (Please note, these trails may be a little muddy.) We will return to the parking lot and, for those who are interested, the hike will continue along the Riverside Trail towards Huguenot Flatwater Park. This portion of the hike gives scenic views along the James River.
