Up to four nights camping in the Prince William Forest's Oak Ridge Campground. Campsites will have to be reserved in advance at recreation.gov. And you are welcome to stay as many nights as fits your schedule and you may be able to share a campsite or tent with someone else. I have reserved site B-16 and there seems to be some good sites near there. The campground has heated bathrooms with flush toilets and showers. Visit https://www.nps.gov/prwi/index.htm for Park information.
I will be sending updates to registered participants concerning Day Hikes and other adventures in the area. Possibilities include a day hike of the park trails, visit to Arlington Cemetery via closest Metro Station, Great Falls of the Potomac Area Hike or maybe return to Crow’s Nest Preserve. These activities will be limited to 12 participants with no dogs. Updates as we get closer to the date. To register or for additional information, contact Howard Davis, hsdhiker@gmail.com
