Located off the Massanutten Trail in the Fort Valley Area, Kennedy Peak has some of the best vistas in the region with a spectacular 360 view from the fire tower viewing platform on the summit of Kennedy Peak. Planned hike is an out and back hike of 7 miles with 1300 ft of elevation gain & descent. (There is also an optional 9.5 mile optional loop hike using the Massanutten and more rugged Stephens Trail).
