Strenuous 10-mile loop hike with 2000 ft elevation gain. Hike starts at Blackrock Gap Parking and uses the AT, Trayfoot Mountain, and Payne Run Trails to complete the Loop. Highlights include Blackrock, vistas from Trayfoot Mountain, and Payne Run. Should have previous experience with this type of hiking and be prepared for the weather which could include one wet stream crossing.
