Moderately Strenuous Shuttle Hike of 7 miles with 308 ft of Elevation Gain and 1750 ft loss. We will meet at St Mary’s Trail Parking Area, then, after a 30-minute shuttle we will start hiking at the Mine Bank Creek Trailhead on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Lunch at St Mary Falls or a nearby swimming-wading hole. Be sure to bring plenty of water, lunch-snacks, towel, bug-sun and weather protection. All water crossings now have stepping stones but there is always a chance that high water could create a "wet" opportunity or maybe you will want to visit a river pool. Hike limit 10 with No Dogs.
