Please carpool for this hike starting at 3201 Semmes Ave at 9:50 am. On street parking. Woodland Heights and Forest Hill Ave have wonderful houses built in the last 100 years- some newer and some older. This will be approximately 5 miles. We will enter the Woodland Heights neighborhood going on into Forest Hill Park. We will go up one long hill before entering the Forest Hill Ave area with large houses and lots. We could have lunch at O’Toole’s Restaurant afterwards.
The ODATC Mission
The construction and maintenance of foot trails for hikers, including the Appalachian Trail between Reids Gap and Rockfish Gap.
The provision of excursions on such trails or other areas.
Offering educational activities related to the need for preserving the great outdoors.
